Active Shooter Defense | Active Shooter Contingency Planning

active shooter defense

The US has more active shooter incidents than any other nation in the world. All too often, government, corporate and even health care facilities are targeted by active shooters.

Preparing for such incidents is a basic necessity for anyone responsible for a facility’s overall safety. At the Urban Survival Academy, we train people to handle active shooter defense based on our experience in the US Special Forces.

While the causes and solutions to mass shootings can be debated endlessly, preparing for such a situation is something you can do right now, and it might end up saving lives in the future.

Who Is this Training For?

We provide this training to school-based and local law enforcement agencies, hospital security, workplace administrators, even churches and anyone else who needs to be sure that they have a proactive response in the event of an active shooter or violent intruder incident.

No, you don’t have to be part of an official agency to take this training. It’s available, and necessary, for anyone who has responsibility for a location that an active shooter might target.
